WHAT IS BONZAI BRAWL ?

The BonzAI Brawl is an all day artificial intelligence programming competition where teams of one to three design autonomous agents capable of overcoming challenges and out-performing their opponents. Teams have eight hours to craft, tweek, and perfect their strategy before their AIs are entered in to the Brawl. In the Brawl the AIs face off against one another in a tournament to determine which is the most capable.

2016 RECAP

BonzAI had over 90 students, alumni, faculty, and people from local industry. 47 teams of 1 to 3 students worked to develop an artificial intelligence program in Java. Each team used their wits to redirect a beam from a laser-sighted telescope to discover landmarks on uncharted planets. For the Brawl, the team that had the best strategy to outsmart their opponents would win. Cash prizes were awarded to the top three teams; all participants received t-shirts and raffle prizes.

We look forward to making next year just as great!
See you there.
